Could Shingles Be Related To Ear Pain And Acne Breakout?

Hi - I believe that I may have shingles - on right side of my face & into my ear. I am 44.5 years old & this will be my third bout of shingles. I hope that I can see my dr tomorrow for accurate diagnosis! I didn't think shingles would reoccur three times so just presumed I had an ear ache & weird acne outbreak! The sores have now started to crust over but my ear is still weepy - it will not go away without treatment will it!

Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I have read your query and understood your concern.

Shingles can recur any number of times as the virus remains there in the nerves always.
I will advice you to visit your doctor in person for proper evaluation and examination as shingles on face should not be ignored.
