Could Taking 15 Mg Prevacid Twice A Day Cause Stomach Problems?
Hi, I have been taking prescription 30mg Prevacid since 1990. My new insurance won t pay for it so I have been taking over the counter 15mg twice a day. Is the non-prescription medication as good? I have been having stomach problems and wonder if this is it. thank you.

Prevacid (Lansoprazole) can cause Gastro-intestinal side-effects like Diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea but uncommon.
Mostly the drug is well tolerated.
