Could The High Dosage Of Sotolol Be The Cause Tiredness?
I am concerned about the health of my father. Complains of being cold constantly, falls asleep within 10-15 min. of sitting down to relax, racing heartbeat at least once a month and has been taken to the hospital twice in 6 months for the fore mentioned problem (nothing can be detected for the problem). He's a white male, 83 y.o. and currently is taking Warfarin 5mg 1x daily (blood thinner), Sotolol 80mg 2x daily (heartbeat), Levothyroxine .05mg 1x daily (Thyroid), and Vesicare 5mg 1x daily (Overactive bladder). My biggest concern is the dosage amount of Sotolol being to high. Could this be why he is constantly tired? Can any of his problems be treated "naturally"?
Sotolol can have fatigue as a side effect and this can be more pronounced in the elderly. You need to talk to the cardiologist about another medication that may not have this side effect. There are not really any natural medications to replace sotolol.
