Could There Be A Sugar Fluctuation Caused Due To Stopping Of Zaptra,Oxetol And Mitraz?

Hello, my mother was on psychiatric medications - Zaptra 12.5 mg, Oxetol and Mirtaz for about a year. On parallel she is diabetic and taking following medication - Amaryl 2 mg, eltroxin 100 mg for thyroid, Atorin 10 mg for cholesterol, Norvasc for BP, Neurobion, Vit D, clacium and iron supplement

She has recently stopped the psychiatrist medication without consulting the doctor and is facing frequent sugar fluctuations. Could the blood sugar fluctuation be cause of stopping Zaptra 12.5 mg, Oxetol and Mirtaz

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your worry but that is not the case blood sugar level and antipsychotic drugs are nothing to take with each other, stop taking this drugs does not cause any fluctuation in blood sugar level, the reason for this could be else, or it could be just your assumption, you have to get it confirm with clinicians first that is really fluctuating the glucose level, hope this information helps you, have good bye.
