Crampy Pain Below Navel Area With Soft, Muddy Brown, Liquidy Stools. Is Colonoscopy Needed?

I am a male 63 of age, reasonably healthy. Been having crampy slight pain below the naval area especially after eating. It can be a small meal or a snack. Afterwards about a couple hours I tend to go the john and dump out very little soft muddy brown stool almost liquid like that just sinks to the bottom of the bowl. Do I need to have a colonosterphy done?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
That depends upon the duration of the problem, if it is recent origin, you need not have a colonoscopy, it may be an amoebic colitis.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxaci, ornidazole, ranitidine, and domperidone.
Avoid taking more of spices, junk foods, and oily foods.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.Thank you
