Crohns Disease, Give Me The Details Of It.

My father has had Crohns disease since the 80 s, I have been through many attacks and seen him to many doctors. But recently he was told he has a low white blood count and High red blood count. I am wondering if there are other causes other than lukemia and cancers that could cause these blood counts . The Doctor stated she is concerned it has to do with his marrow, But after reading numerous articles I have tied his crohns to many symptoms. She aslo called him on the phone and told him to be concerned if he bagan vomitting blood. I think he should see another Doctor, the doctor he is seeing is useless in the crohns area, and not to mention what kind of doctor tells a patient these things and expects them not to think the worse. She called him over a week ago and he is finally going to the doctors tomorrow. Please help I want to ask some questions to get the bottom of this , I just do not know where to start and he is terrified he has little time left to live.
