Cyst On Vaginal Lip, Painful. Applying Ointment

hi, i have been experiencing a cyst on my vaginal lip and its so painful, it coming around for the fourth time now. the first was hard felt the pain when i was walking and using the restroom. the second one was not painful at all it came out and was gone in a week, the third had a sever pain and lasted two weeks. i only used ointment to ease the pain that i had cased by friction. and now three weeks in the same as the third one, i don't know what it is so please tell me what it is,

Thanks for your query.
I think you are having Bartholins' cyst.
This is a condition where due to blockage of the Bartholins' glands, the secretions get pent up, resulting in cyst and abscess formation.
As it is recurrent, and painful, it might indicate superadded infection.
THe cyst might need marsupialization or removal to be cured completely.
Do not self medicate it, as it might worsen.
Please consult a gynecologist for confirmation of the diagnosis and treatment accordingly.
