Dark Pink Patches On Tongue, One On Each Side, Fever, Cough Post Childbirth. Cause Of Worry?
The other day I noticed two dark pink, completely smooth, patches on my tongue , one on each side, and one being large, the other rather small. They re not spots or bumps, more like discolorations. Should I he worried? I was sick last week with a virus, had a temperature, aches and now a cough . Not sure if that s related. I am also 20 weeks post partum. Thank you.

Mostly these patches are due to vitamin deficiency after viral fever. You can take good vitamin supplement. These patches may take up to a week to resolve after starting vitamins.
