Daughter Has Fever. Given Crocin, Meftal-p. Suggestions?
hi doctor,my daughter is 2.7yrs old and from last 5days she has fever
till sunday evening it was around 99.5F after a dosage of crocin her fever used to be under control and sunday night she had 100temp which was continued till monday noon after that we were told to give her crocin and meftal P but still from last 2days every 8-9hrs her temp gets upto 99.6.kindly suggest what could be the cause for the same and what measures shpould be taken further

First if the temperature remains in a range of 98.6 degree + or - 0.9 degree then we do not consider that as fever.
So continue monitoring the temperature.
Does she have any other problems like cough, cold, burning urination, increased frequency of urination etc?
Is she active and playful?
Please reply in detail.

Hi dear,
Five days of fever needs to be evaluated. Blood tests, urine tests might be needed. Based on that if needed antibiotics can be prescribed by your doctor. So seeing a pediatrician is advised at this stage. Till then keep giving her adequate fluids for hydration.
