Delay In Period, Cramps, Headache, Bloated, Greenish Discharge. Have Irregular Periods, Tubes Tied. Any Ideas?
Hi. I am late for my period. I had my period twice in May. Not at all in June. I have cramps and a dull headache . Not unlike PMS . But, my period just isn t coming. I am incredibly bloated, it looks like I am about 3 months pregnant. And some greenish discharge. I have not yet taken a pregnancy test, as my tubes were tied 5 years ago. Any thoughts?
Hello dear,
Tubectomy has a failure rate of about 1%, so do a pregnancy test and further consult a doctor with the result.
You mentioned greenish discharge, it can due to infection, vaginitis or cervicitis, due to trichomoniasis or bacterial vaginosis. This infection can also delay your period. You need to consult a doctor for this and take appropriate drugs.
If the period is delayed because of infection it will resume once the infection is treated.
Take care.
