Diagnosed UTI Mild Cystitis With Prostrate Enlargement. Prescribed Moxifloxacin. Severe Inflammation And Swelling. Side Effects?
after scanning dr told me i had uti mild cystitis with prostrate enlargement . no pvr, after two days medication with olfloxin 200 mg twise a day the doctro changed the drug to moxifloxacin 400 mg once in a day, the first day i took moifloxacin 400 mg at mid day before meal, immediately i got sever inflamation and all my muscles including head became tight, and by evening i noticed all my skeletal muscle tendons are swollen and my entire posture became very loose, what should i do and what precations to be taken. i stopped taking the durg abruply with out going to gp

The symptoms u experienced might be due to the side effects of
moxifloxacin...tendonitis i.e inflammation of tendons.
do u have diabetes or any problem with your muscles or tendons?
because then u r more prone to have side effects
u can use NSAIDs like brufen and anti allergic cetrizine for 2-3 days ,as u have
already stopped the drug
