Diagnosed Depression And Anxiety Disorder. Scared That Some One Will Kill. What Could This Be?

all my life I have been extremely paranoid but I have noticed in the last month it has gotten a lot worse than it was before. I am always afraid that there is someone behind me ready to kill me, I have already been diagnosed with depression and an anxiety disorder (im 15) but I am not on any medication. when I am in the dark I see figures and hear voices but when the lights are on I am ok. I am always terrified of everything. I don't want to tell my parents about this until I know that it is serious. what could this be?

You may revisit your psychiatrist and tell him regarding all your symptoms including the fears that someone may be following you to kill you or of seeing figures or hearing voices.

These may be symptoms of psychosis and not depression or anxiety.
You may need a different group of medications for good improvement.
Do take time and confide in your family and tell them that you would like to meet a psychiatrist. It will help you a lot.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
It seems that you are having depression and due to untreated condition it became chronic and now you developed paranoid personality disorder and delusions and illusions.
Consult Psychiatrist as soon as possible without delay and get examined.
With treatment you will be alright.
Ok and take care.
