Diagnosed With H. Pylori Infection After Urea Breath Test. Got Temporary Relief With Amoxilin, Bismuth

Hi, Have been diagnosed with H. Pylori Infection last month using Urea Breath Test after year of suffering of unknown Cause. Doc put me one week of antibiotic (Amoxilin), Bismuth and PPI. I got substantial relief for one week. After that My problem started again. My Symptoms are: Abdominal Pain, Gas, Bloating, Having motion in small quantity, in pieces. very unpleasant and metallic odor. Sleep disturbance, muslce jerk at night and I am struggling to maintain my weight. abnormal appetite. I have seen mony docs and hospital in the last seven year. Some said, U have Gastritis, some said inflammation or Ulcer and some said IBS. And treated accordingly but nothing Helped me.

the fact remains that gasritis is what you have
i would personally advice all my patents to continue taking esomeprazole 40 once daily half hour prior to meals
for a prolonged time

you may also want to know that antibiotics for h pylori, while effective are not 100% curative
h pylori can recur
its like any infection
it can happen again

but for now prolonged esomeprazole should help
