Diagnosed With Calcaneal Enthesopathy With Tendon Insertion. Stiffness Pain. Are NSAID Enough Yo Halt The Progression Of Disease?

Hi, I have been recently diagnosed with calcaneal enthesopathy, having entheses at both the Achilles tendon insertion as well as the plantar aponeurosis. Although I am in pain now (mostly stiffness pain, like in the morning or after sitting for a wile) I am mostly worried about long-term prognosis. Are NSAIDs enough to halt the progression of the disease?

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

NSAIDS only provide symptomatic relief of pain and do not modify the disease process. The disease may worsen or improve irrespective of use of NSAIDS.

I hope it helped
