Diagnosed With Iron Deficient Anemia And Low Haemoglobin. Taken Ferrosig Injection. Sufficient?
I hav just been diagnosed with IRON DEFICIENT ANEMIA AND LOW HAEMOGLOBIN . Im having FERROSIG injections every 2 days. Just had my 3rd injection and they don t seem to be working as I am still fatigued. My Dr presumed I would be full of energy after the st injection but this is not the case. Is it common for this treatment not to work? Hope to hear from you soon. Linda
Anaemia due to iron deficiency, shows that your body is lacking severely,as far as iron storage is concerned.
The injections you are taking presently will replenish, the storage again but definitely. It will take time probably around three months.
Overdosage is not recommended as it can be very harmful.
you can, presently supplement your diet with iron rich components like spinach, and other green leafy vegetables and fruits like chikoo, apple etc. This will help you largely.
Hope it helps.
wish you good health.
Take care. Thanks.
