Diagnosed With Pus And Epithelial Cells In Urine. Remedy And Medication ?
Been diagnosed with puss cells n epethelial cells in urine. Their range both way above the normal range. 28-30 and I just developed it during the 9th month of pregnancy. What are some remedies n medications. How could it effect my baby ? And is it that I will hav to deliver before my due date now? I'm currently 37 weeks+ 5 days
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C. M. Forum. Since you are 38 weeks pregnant , you can deliver baby at any time as 10 lunar months (280 days) are stipulated for delivery. As far as concerned about the urinary tract infection you can take Levofloxacin 500 mg /day ( once in a day ) for 5 days . But the best thing is to consult your doctor for this . At this time as baby is mature ( in uterus) usually this type of drug will not produce any side effects to your baby. Good luck for both of you. Dr. HET
