Diarrhea, Blood In Stools, Fever, Refusal To Take Racecadotril
my 2 yr old son had a bout of diahorrea abt 6 motions in a couple of hrs yesterday, the last three motions had a little blood in them. Our GP prescribed Racecadotril oral susp(10 mg), cyclopam and bacigyl n syrups. However my son refuses to take the racecadotril and consequently the diarrhoea persisits and he developed a temperature overnight. Can u please advise

I hope he is getting Bacigyl and cyclopam. These two drugs can control diarrhea. Give him plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. If there is no improvement within two days or if his condition worsens please show him again to the doctor.
