Difficulty Passing Stools, Soft Stools. Normal Colonoscopy

Hie, I have difficulty passing bowels. The stools are very soft and they get stuck in the rectum . I have to digitally evacuate it. I spend 30-40 minutes to evacuate completely and after 30 mins I again feel like I am full and need to evacuate. I go to the toilet atleast 4-6 times daily and spend 30-40 mins each time. Colonoscopy is normal. Soon after I defecate a little my anal muscles and rectal muscles become tight until I manually dilate them. Pleas help.

Hi ysaahil,
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
Your gut seems hypokinetic. The gut normally is in a constant rhythmic sequential wave of contraction which propels the gut content, it is termed peristalsis.
What are your other health issues- this type of problem is seen in prolonged diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypokalemia, and idiopathic gut hypokinesia in elderly.
You should get evaluated by a physician. Prokinetic drugs can help you to achieve good bowel clearance.
I hope the advise would be informative and useful for you.
Take Care!
