Do Pain Killers Cause Rise In Temperatures?

i was recently in hostpital..i was given pain killers and anti sickness in the A&E department..i did not have a high temp but as soon as i was given these, interveniously, my temp rose to 39.4 and it felt like i was on fire...no-one was overly worried except for me, i have been dianogised with pneumonia since this has happen. thanks

No. It will not. Some pain killers may help to reduce your body temperature. You can take acetaminophen for fever.
