Hi,
Alprim (trimethoprim) is a commonly used and effective drug for treating UTIs. It does have many side-effects which can make you feel somewhat ill. However, your doctor will have prescribed this with the consideration that it is the most appropriate drug in the circumstances. You are likely to be feeling ill as a result of the UTI as well. Therefore, I suggest you continue taking it. Also, drink plenty of water. Once it has started to take effect, you are likely to begin to feel better.
