Does Linzess And Miralax Cause Abdominal Swelling?

I have been taking Cymbalta for depression for over 5 months, and developed severe constipation as a result. I am currently taking Linzess along with Miralax to combat the constipation and it helps, but my bowel habits are far from normal. In addition, I am experiencing abdominal swelling which seems to be getting worse. I feel like I want to just clean out my system and see if that helps. What do you think?

thanks for posting your question in healthcare magic

as per your narration you are on cymbalta for depression and also suffering with constipation. for constipation you are taking linzess (linaclotide). the side effect of linzess is abdominal pain and abdomianl bloating. so no need to worry about that.

one more thing, don't use these drugs for constipation for longer times, try to improve your bowel habits like.....drinking lots of water early in the morning... eating fibre-rich diet and have daily 2-3 bananas in the night after dinner... these things will help you
