Does Meftal Help With The Fever In A Child?

We have a seven year son...has constant fever over the past 3 days...dr. has prescribed crocin and clampkid forte...also advised to use meftal p if fever does not subside...He had 104 in the morning, we gave meftal p at around 10 AM...it s 3 PM now and his temp is close to 101. Can I give meftal again?

You can give paracetamol every 4 hourly.
AS already 5 hours passed you can safely repeat Meftal.
Tepid sponging frequently in addition to drugs will help reducing fever promptly.
