Hi,

Moza MPS is unlikely to be associated with weight gain. Moza MPS (mosapride+dimethicone) is commonly used for the symptomatic relief of constipation, bloating, vomiting, heart burn, irritable bowel syndrome, gastroparesis, and gastritis. Its most common side effects are diarrhea, drowsiness, dryness in mouth, and stomach pain. It is usually given in the dose of 5 mg thrice a day however, it may be taken once daily. There is nothing to worry as it is not known to cause weight gain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
