Does A Urine Test Showing Clumps Of Pus And HPF Red Cells Require Medical Attention?

Hi! I did a urine test because my urine have a blood in it. Here is the result of the test and i dont know what does this means please help. Ph : 6.5 Sp gravity : 1.015 Albumin : trace Glucose : negative Pus cells : 18-20 / HPF Red cells : 2-4 / HPF Epithelial cells : few Mucus threads : moderate Amorphous urates/ phosohates : moderate Bacteria : moderate Others : some pus cells are in clumps

Hi,

Your urine report suggestive of acute infective aetiology due to the presence of pus cells and bacteria. It can be acute urinary tract infection like urethritis.

I suggest you investigate further with urine culture report to find causative organism. Ultrasonography pelvis also advisable. According to the culture report medicine given, until then broad spectrum antibiotic can be started.

You can take Cranberry juice extract tablet also for few days.
