Does Activated Charcoal Interact With Lithium?

I believe that Activated charcoal if rubbed on the body and let it sit until it releases will detox the entire body, now lithium can help with arthritis right so my friend has chronic pain, and he is taking so much pain killers and he has gout as well, so i told him to rub the charcoal on his body and just let the charcoal harden and fall by itself to take away the toxins in the body, but i read lithium does not react to the charcoal, will it react in a much serious state? I dont have money so im sorry, i guess i really do believe in my friend so im just gonna pray that it works

Hello,

What you are talking about may be possible in laboratory if you mix the activated charcoal and lithium but for the biological system it is not true neither it is to be tried both the agent are hazardous for human biological system.

If anyone has some disease or some symptoms, then it is advisable to see the doctor and let the doctor diagnosed the case and suggest the line of treatment, but quack method could be harmful.
