Does Eating Cold Items During Pregnancy Affect The Baby ?

Hello Doctor! Im 28 yrs old, 24 weeks pregnant . Please advise me whether my diet will affect in anyway to my baby, without affecting me; that is, Im not suffered from cold even im taking cold items (like lemon juice, icecream), but my baby will get affected? I couldn t predict this. If so, I can avoid those items. Thanks in advance.

Whatever you have during the pregnancy usually shows an effect on the fetus. The cold items like ice cream are best avoided during pregnancy as extreme change in temperatures exposes you to a higher risk of illnesses which will indirectly affect your baby also. Avoid junk food and have a plenty of healthy and nutritious diet for your baby's health.
