Does Fever Mean That Typhoid Is Returning In Child's Body?

Hi i am the mother of a 2 yr old who was diagnosed with typhoid seven days back through typhidot rapid test and both the categories were positive. doctor gave her cefixime twice a day. we are continuing with the medication diligently and trying oi keep her rested along with the diet that has to be given. my biggest worry is that we r in the 8th day of this and she had a slight fever of 99 C in the evening......does that mean the disease is coming back a relapse and what should i do to ascertian its properly eradicated from her body? should v the family members screen ourselves as well?

typhoid is a communicable disease.
it is caused by faeco oral route. so one has to keep good hygiene.
you should continue your antibiotic for fourteen days sometimes.
a physical examination is needed.
it sometimes take time to eradicate. .
