Does Flashing Light On Side Of Eye Have Anything Related To Temporal Arteritis?

I have temporal arteritis. I have had it for about a year and a half now. I have been on prednisone for that long.
I have a flashing light on the side of my eye. That's been happening today. Does that have anything to do with
temporal arteritis?
Thank you
