As you have scanty period,if you are anemic,poor health or some hormonal deficiency .
All these can lead to scanty period.
Consult gynaec and seek his advice.
Take highly nourishing diet,more protein,milk, pulses,
Take more green veges ,fruits etc.
Do not have sex without protection.
