Does Intercourse During Menopause Cause Amenorrhea?

Hello about 3 years ago I started the onset of menopause...heavy and uncontrollable period. That lasted about 2 months then my period became more regular. Then in October 2014, I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm but survived and am now back to my old self amazingly. I have not been sexually active much since then maybe once or twice a month until about 5 months ago when I met someone very special. We are more active together now. I haven't had a period until now in 5 months. Could the sex brought this about?

Hi,

I don't think sex can bring the period changes. I think the changes are from your age, menopause. You were in pre-menopause before and when you do a year without period you are officially in menopause. Don't worry about it, is just normal period of life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
