Does Knee Replacement Surgery Increase The Risk Of Renal Failure?

Right before I was ready to have knee replacement surgery, I was asked if I had ever been told I have renal failure. My primary physician had never said anything to me. Now that I am feeling better from surgery, I am going to see my Dr. I am a nervous wreck. How long can I live this way, three months, six months, etc? I was just shocked to hear renal failure. What I have been reading online doesn't sound good. HELP!!!!!!
