Does Losartan Cause Serious Nasal Congestion, Chronic Bronchitis, Coughing Yellow Phlegm?

I have been taking Losartan (cozaar) at 100 mg/day for about 3 yrs now and have developed serious nasal congestion (6 months ago) followed by moderate to severe chronic bronchitis, coughing up much yellow phlegm and
much wheezing which has still continued. Could Losartan be the culprit

Thank you,
You are taking taking medicine for blood pressure i.e. Losartan which is of class AT1 receptor antagonist.Dear this is newer congener related to ACE inhibitor class which does not have side effect of cough as shown by previous class. So there are very less chances that you have these symptoms because of this medicine.
My suggestion is consult a respiratory physician for your problem. He will examine you properly to make a correct diagnosis and subsequent treatment.Hope this helps.
Take care.
Thank you.
