Does Low Carb Diet Cause Ulcers In The Mouth Inside Lips?
I've been on a low carb diet for 7 days. Not obsessive low carbs but about 45-55 per day. I've noticed I'm starting to get ulcers in my mouth inside my lips. I've started taking a multi vitamin and amino acid Lysine for the last 3 days. Does the low carb diet cause this or is it coincidental?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is mouth lesion then most probably it could be due to dental condition, (Fungal infection) Folic acid deficiency, and not due to low carbohydrate, hope this information helps, take care and have nice day.

Always chose to take balanced diet. However low carbs cause dryness in the beginning when you switch suddenly from rich carb to low carbs.
