Does Orofer Xt & Hifenac Cause Side Effects?

Hi Doctor, Age : 30 height : 5 3 Weight : 53 Since , i am having some joint pain , i have been instructed to take the hifenac P tablet and also since, i am having less Heamoglobin %, i am taking orofer xt tablets also.But after starting both , i am getting a diarrhea & Acidity problem after 3 pm everyday. So kindly suggest me for this .. Should i need to continue both, or u want me to stop any one tablet for a while.

Hi,

Orofer xt tablet contains ferrous ascorbate (iron), folic acid, zinc, methylcobolamin etc which used to treat iron deficiency anemia, anemia due to chronic blood loss, anemia due to nutritional deficiencies etc. Side effects of orofer xt are nausea, vomiting, taste alterations, heartburn, constipation, black or tarry stools, irritability, upper abdominal pain, GIT upset, altered sleep patterns etc.

Hifenac P contains both aceclofenac and paracetamol which is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing arthritis, osteoarthritis etc and relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, earache, throatache etc. Side effects of hifenac P are nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhoea, anorexia, mouth ulcer, gastric ulcer, fatigue, drowsiness, swelling, liver damage, anemia, increased blood pressure, blisters etc.
