Does Spiking And Maintaining A High Level Of Basal Body Temperature Indicate Pregnancy?
I use natural family planning and track my basal body temperatures. Typically it spikes at ovulation, then stays high until the day before I start. This month it never rose. There are a couple spikes throughout but I ve hovered a few tenths of a degree above or below 98 all month and am on day 31 of my cycle. What does this mean? I ve been told if you re pregnant it will spike and stay high, so I m puzzled.

There can be many other influencing factors, so as long as your temperature is not permanently above normal there is nothing to worry about.
