Does Tiredness, Headache And Gassy Stomach Side Effects Of Flagyl Tablet?

Hi I'm taking flagyl 259 tablets 4x /day. This is 3rd day and I'm not feeling right, tired, slight headache, gas in stomach and funny breathing. Could this be a side affect of the medication.im very sensitive to antibiotics. I also wash face with a soap with glycol in it? Taking for abscess tooth seeing dentist in morning, should I stop taking it. Also ringing in ears

Side effects can potentially occur as a result of using any medication. Metronidazole can cause gastrointestinal upset, headache, dizziness, nausea.It could be contributing to these symptoms.

It is not usually associated with difficulty breathing however.

You may want to consider taking the medication at least till you can see the dentist in the am. He may recommend alternative medication at that time.
