Done Ultrasound Of Urinary Tract And Abdominal, Shows An Enlarged Prostate And Mid Line Cyst. What Should Be Next Step?

Hi, I have a condition of haematospermia for about 4 months. The doctor has done ultrasound of my urinary tract and abdominal. It shows an enlarged prostate and mid line cyst. I was then sent to urologist for further examination. He did a physical exam through my rectum and prescribed me Ciprofloxacin for one month. It didn t work except it was on and off, sometimes blood was there, sometimes there wasnt (atleast not visible to naked eye). Then i told the urologist, it didnt help, he did a Cystoscopy and found everything to be normal inside. Now, i am getting red semen with red dots majority, my urologist has asked me to get an MRI for my prostate, as he thinks there is a flush near my prostate when he did the physical exam after my cystocopy. He explains a flush meaning a fluid type bump. So now i am waiting on the MRI Can you help me with whats really going on? The cause of this whole hematospermia is i ride bicycle during summer, and last summer, i had to brake suddenly and the rod in the middle of the bike (underneath the seat, my pubic area got hit by the rod once. I had pain in my lower abdomen for few days but nothing serious and after a month or so, this bloody semen started. Please help.

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
Hematospermia and had been prescribed antibiotic which did not yield any results. Urologist did cystoscopic examination and could not detect any gross visible lesion in bladder or prostate.
He has advised you to go for MRI.
Hematospermia can be due pathology anywhere from testicles, epididymis, vas.seminal vesicle and prostate.
It is advisable to get MRI done to find out the cause of hematospermia.

Further treatment will depend upon the result of MRI.
