Experiencing Pain, spasm And Tightness In Arm And Shoulder.Suggest Treatment

Experiencing pain in left arm (7+) and it won't stop spasming. Started in my neck, and then into my shoulder, and there's a tightness in my chest. The pain started about five days ago in my neck, I've been noticing I have been clenching my jaw; there's tightness in my jaw. Now the pain has moved down from neck through shoulder to arm, with pain across the left side of my chest too.
I am 32 years old.

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain. The intensity of this pain at 7+ warrants at least a physical examination to understand what the possible problem could be. It is true pain medications like Ibuprofen and Tylenol taken together would offer relief but I will like this investigated. Your primary care doctor should be able to kick start the process.

I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to ask for clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health.
