Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
have you read my brief history ? i am feeling deep breathing during sleep ,air goes much more in lung on left side is much more than in right , during sleep it is prominent, and during day time it is also present but in lesser degree.there is unhealed broken ribs ,wrong joints of ribs after breaking. thickened pleura is still there fibrosis is also present as before.my osteoporosis is reversed as per my ortho doctor cosidering my age (70), T - value -3.15 to -1.8. i am taking Calcium in the form of ROCKBON , i took REOSTO an ayurvedic medicine for more than two years ,for ostoporosis.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Unevenness in breathing is due to abnormal lung expansion secondary to thickened pleura and fibrosis. 2. If you are experiencing breathing difficulty, then you might need further evaluation of lung function tests, hemoglobin evaluation and thyroid hormone profile. 3. Your bone mineral density is considerably lower. Continue calcium medication and if necessary ayurvedic medication. Biphosphonates maybe needed at later date. Vit D therapy can be started to improve calcium levels. 4. As there is no edema or cough, no need to worry about unevenness in breathing. You can try breathing exercises using spirometry. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
