Feeling Of Lump In The Vaginal Wall, In The Middle Of The Menstrual Cycle. Reason?

I have found a large lump inside my vagina . I am in the middle of my menstrual cycle and have read something about the uterus being lower down at this stage, can anyone enlighten me? It feels as if it is attached to the wall of my vagina. I discovered it because my tampon felt extremely uncomfortable inside me and believe this to be the reason.

hi phyllide
if you have definitely felt a lump in the vagina then other than what you think abt the uterus down ( we call it prolapse) there could be other causes
a growth in the vagina or cervix
a clinical internal examination only can tell if at all there is a problem and its nature
so better get checked
bye
