I fell Oct 18, flat on the sidewalk and most of the force was absorbed by my right breast, right arm pit. I don't have shortness of breath, but I cannot take a really deep breath either. I probably bruised a rib I think. New pain in my back by my right shoulder blade hurts when I breath normally. Q 1. Should I see a doctor or just give it more time?
Q 2. I can hear a slight noise in my chest when I breath - on the right side. Do I have a chance of getting pneumonia? I'm 66 - in fair health, weigh 154, work full time. Have used aleve for the pain. Advice please on seeking an appointment. Pain level now is probably a 7 or 8 when I breath, when I turn or use my R arm pain level can be 9. Thank you.
