Fell And Hit Wrist, Tingling And Numbness In Hand, No Strength In Hand. Sprained According To Doctor
my husband fell and hit his wrist. Took him to the doctor and they said he sprained it really bad. This happened last Tuesday. He has had tingling and numbness in the hand since Wednesday. He has no strength in his hand to open it completely or to grab things. We are worried that they lask of taking this serious will cause the loss of the use of his hand. What would you say we are looking at and who should we go see since the family doctor isn't worried about it.
Hi, From history it seems that he might be having Colle's fracture or fracture in metacarpal. Go for X-ray to rule out fracture. Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined. Ok and take care.
