Fell Down On Ribs And Side Back. Hurting To Breathe, Pain In Sternum And Back Side With Headache

Hello my name is samantha. I am 20 years old. I fell down onto hardwood floor on my ribs and side back area. It is hurting to breathe and the pain is in my sternum and my left ribs and in the middle area on both sides of my back where my ribs are. I am having bad headaches and it hurts to breathe. But I can do everything just fine. I'm just in pain. Am I ok? Or should I be worried??

Dear Samantha,

The pain is attributable to bone & soft tissue injury after the fall.
Kindly take analgesics like Diclofenac+ apply muscle relaxant gel.
You can also apply ice over the area.
The pain will take some time to relieve.

If it still persists, kindly get X ray of chest done to rule out any fracture.
There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Wishing you a good health
Take care.
