Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your problem. Fibrroadenosis is a common problem in women your age and it is commonly associated with polycystic ovarian disease. In this condition the breast tissue becomes sensitive to the hormonal changes and leads to pain. The first thing which I want to clarify is that this is a benign condition and usually not associated with cancer. No biopsy of the breast or ovary is required.
For the breast pain, you should:
1. avoid caffeine intake
2. wear a well supported bra
3. take vit E capsules daily for 3 months
4. primrose capsules daily for 3 months.

For PCOS, you should consult a gynecologist and seek her opinion. You can discuss the role of metformin for the treatment of PCOS with her.

Hoping for the best.
