Had A Vaginal Infection. On Flagyl. While Breast Feeding, Child Had Diarrhea And Vomiting. Need Recommendations

Hi doctor i had a vaginal infection and the doctor prescribed flagyl for me three times a day for five days. I am breast feeding and my child had diarrhea and vomiting since then. It has been now five days since i stopped flagyl but she still has diarrhea and vomiting when she is fed from my breast and she is fine when she takes bottle. Please tell me what to do? Its now four days for me pumping and dumping my milk!!

Hi
thanks for your query at HCM
you should give him extra fluid and ORS ,
monitor his hydration status
if there is any blood or fever or child starts vomit every thing then immediately visit you doctor

change his diaper after every loose stool
how nuch urine he is passing
continuous follow up to your gastroentrologist is necessary for 2nd line of investigations
