Had Brown Discharge, Nausea, Light Cramps, Mood Swings, Tenderness In Breasts. Used A Tampon. Is This Normal?
My period was due on the 10th of October on the 12th I got brown discharge only when I wiped that night I put a tampon in and went to bed next morning took it out and it was only 1/4 of the way full after that just when I wiped and then turned pink and mucus like. The whole time I have been filling nauseous been feeling very light cramps on and off, also been going to the bathroom more often, moodiness, tingling in breast. I have taken two hot one the day after period was due another five day later both came out negative. Can you please let me know if this is normal
If you suspect that you may be pregnant then you can consider waiting a few days and repeating the test. In early pregnancy the levels of HCG hormone are low and may not be detectable by some pregnancy tests.
A blood HCG test, done by your doctor, can also determine pregnancy early.
There are causes for delayed, light or abnormal period. They include: extreme physical activity, physical or emotional stress, inadequate diet, abnormal thyroid hormone levels.
If the tests are definitely negative and your other periods are abnormal then blood tests for hormonal levels may be done.
I hope this helps
