Had Cystic Ovaries, Yeast Infection. Bleeding For Months Post Hysterectomy. What Is The Cause?

I am having Bleeding 8 months after my Full Hysterectomy. I know I will need to go to my Dr. But it is Sunday so I do not want to worry all night. It hurts to urinate and I started out bleeding just a pink discharge while it hurt. Now I am up to about a table spoon of blood 4 hours later. Should I be concerned and go to the urgent care tonight? Or will I be okay until in the morning and see my own Dr.? Also what could cause this? I have not had intercourse in 2 years so that is not it. Nor anything else. I did have a Cyst on both ovaries removed one was 7.5 pounds and the other was 10 pounds. They were quite huge. I have also been having yeast infections which are severe enough I have had to go to my Dr. and get prescription meds to help. Thank you

Hi and thanks for your query.

I am sorry to hear about your vaginal bleeding after hysterectomy. Vaginal bleeding in a lady like you can only originate from the vaginal. You will need a good clinical exam to establish the cause. This could be caused by an infection, growth, bleeding abnormalities etc. Even if the cysts were to recur in your ovaries, it will not present with pervaginal bleeding. Also, because it hurts to urinate, you could have an associated urinary tract infection but this doesn't cause vaginal bleeding all by itself.

I wish you well as you resort to finding answers and getting a long lasting solution.
