Had Electric Shock Like Feelings In Right Arm, BP 141/91, Take Altace BID. What Is The Reason?
I have had 2 electric shock like feelings in my right arm; the first from the hand to elbow, the second (1 hour later) from shoulder to elbow. I was lying down both times. My BP was 141/91. I take Altace BID and Toprol XL Q AM. I also take Imdur @ HS.

The electric shock like feeling is due to a nerve root irritation or mild compression at the level of cervical spine. Neck isometric exercises and methylcobalamin supplements will help.
