Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Post viral infection one can have muscular pain for some time. However the presence of bruises needs to be investigated. Growing pain at this age is not a possibilty. I suggest that you consult your doctor and get the following investigations done:
1. Haemogram.
2. Bleeding and clotting time.
3. Coagulation profile.
4. Serology for chikungunya.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing you an early recovery.
