Had Large Egg And Cut On Head. Both My Eyes Ended Black And Blue And Hurts To Open My Mouth. Do You Think This Is Related?

Hi I fell about 3-4 weeks ago hard and had large egg and cut on head. I fell onto spindle and it broke spindle in half. I had headaches for about 5 days then called neuro for migraine meds and he sent me for head ct 2 days later (so 7 days after incident) called said ct clear . Headaches subsided. (I never actually saw dr.) both my eyes ended black and blue. Severely. Took 2 weeks to clear. Today out of blue I have odd headache and pain in right temple and can't chew. It hurts too open my mouth to wide. Do you think this could be related?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms are suggestive of an internal head injury. A subdural hematoma is likely as it is often associated with delayed symptoms. You need to have an MRI scan to detect the extent of injury and damage.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
